On June 12, 2012, Mega Magazine celebrated Philippine Independence Day through the Pinoy Pride Ball. The momentous ball was also the venue for international fashion designer Furne One to showcase his collection which was flown in from Dubai, and reportedly costs well over PhP 7M. It was also during the Pinoy Pride Ball where very talented Filipinos who have made it globally were awarded.
