With a background in economics and finance, Christine Dychiao started her writing career in 2004 penning articles for Lifestyle Asia Magazine’s My Money section. Her articles ranged from the cost of owning and maintaining private planes and yachts to setting up trust funds and understanding derivatives. She has since contributed several lifestyle stories to Metro Magazine and BusinessWorld’s The High Life while writing a lifestyle column for The Philippine Star. Richmond P. Velayo, G.J.G.(GIA)

Richmond P. Velayo is a Graduate Jeweler Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) where he studied Diamonds, Gemology, Manufacturing, Design and CAD/CAM for Jewelry and familiarized himself with manufacturing jewelry in silver, gold and platinum. He currently works for one of the largest jewelry export companies in the Philippines, 7 Castles, Inc. He also designs pieces for Michelis as well as other brands. Some of his designs have been recognized in The Guild of Philippine Jewellery’s design competitions.

  3. Thanks for such an informative website. I visit Manila every quarter for work, and have absolutely no idea what to do in the evenings. Are there any intentions to post events where one does not need an invite? (or that does not happen in Manila?)
